Empowering Communities Through Integrated Action
Education Trust of India (ETI) works to empower underserved communities by focusing on four key areas that drive sustainable and inclusive development. We promote entrepreneurship by supporting rural individuals, especially women, to build self-reliant livelihoods.
We strengthen education among rural women and girls, enabling them to access opportunities and shape their futures. ETI also prioritizes the health and well-being of adolescent girls through awareness programs and access to essential hygiene resources.
In addition, we work in the environment and agriculture sector, encouraging sustainable practices that support both livelihoods and ecological balance.
Our Key Areas
We support marginalized communities in building sustainable income sources by providing skill training, capacity building, and market linkages — enabling financial independence and a better quality of life.
ETI nurtures local entrepreneurship by identifying potential entrepreneurs in rural areas and equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and mentorship needed to start and grow their own businesses — promoting self-reliance and strengthening local economies.
We work to ensure that girls in rural communities have access to quality education. Through awareness programs, educational support, and community engagement, we aim to reduce dropout rates and empower girls to pursue their aspirations with confidence.
We promote gender equality through economic independence and health awareness. Our initiatives include:
- Skill development and livelihood support for women
- Menstrual hygiene awareness programs
- Distribution of sanitary napkins and hygiene kits to school students across Tamil Nadu
